I have a keyboard (electric piano type) that is 38x15x6".

I have a kitchen style 24x72" counter top which is what my desktop consists of, with a tall filing cabinet for support on each end.

I would like to make a giant version of the roll out computer keyboard shelves/drawers that you see included on computer desks. I want the keyboard to roll in just enough to give me knee room to type on the counter, and pull all the way out to access the keyboard when I want to play. This is equates to a total track movement length of 24".

Anyone have some idea how to make this project work? I am desperate!

Thanks

heeelllooo and welcome marshal5 :D :D :D

are you based in america or britain

as the gap looks around 24" you will need a fairly heavy system especialy as the open to shut distance is large

Draw runners for plans chest should be large enough to suit your use, I once used them under a small freezer in kitchen to allow it to pull out from under a unit.
