Roof/Soil Pipe Vent

Hi all, anyone enlighten me what this is on the roof? it appears as if the front is broken, can they be repaired or replaced?
It's directly above the bathroom so I was thinking it was soil pipe related.

Lookes like a roof air vent although the insects mesh has deteriorated.
Look at underside in loft.

Air tile is likley. It looks like an old version of a repco tile. Also could be a damaged bat access or swift access tile?
