Hi all.

Went outside to see that the wind had somehow blown the top part of my plastic soil pipe off the wall.

The bottom section below the pipe collar joint and the soil pipe from the bathroom are still intact and fixed to the wall, it's it's just the pipe that goes up to the roof that has come away.

I'm guessing it will need a straight run of pipe and then the bendy bit and vent where it comes above the roof and some brackets for the wall.

How much would this kind of repair cost in West Yorkshire and would it be a plumber that would do it?

Cheers

Plumber - £6k

Not sure why a plumber would charge £6k for attaching a storey length of plastic pipe onto the back of the house but hey ho, builder it is then.

Also what is the urgency of this kind of repair?
Can it wait a few days with no vent pipe?
Are there any issues that this can cause by not having half the soil pipe and top vent missing?
