Roof tiles?

My partner is currently outside scraping moss off our roof tiles with a trowel. I've mentioned that we don't know for sure they don't contain asbestos but he is carrying on regardless.
The house was built in 1959 with an extension some time in the 80s.
I will get a sample taken ASAP but it's Sunday still so nothing doing today.
How likely are roof tiles to contain asbestos or am I being over-anxious? He's not worried...
Thanks

Zero chance if they are tiles.

Some chance if they are imitation slate.

He's got more chance of falling off the roof than being harmed by asbestos cleaning moss off slates anyway.
