Roof Vents

Hi all, just a quick question...when making a loft into a bedroom, using insullation on floor and also between joists on loft ceiling must we install roof vents? if so how many? is it 2 each side? they will be going onto tiles.

Depends on the roof! and existing ventilation.

have you considered eave, over facia, ridge vents. soffit.

you need high and low ventilation for airflow.
