Hi, im new to this site, and new to owning a house. At present I have a roofer here renewing my felt, batten, lead, re pointing etc.
My home is end terrace, so my roof is a little more complex than most.
It has one long side, and the other side is joined to my neighbours with two leaded gulleys, one towards the front of the house and one towards the back.
The roofer has replaced all the felt and batten, so looking at the roof from the inside of my loft, the long side has rows and rows of straight and tight felt, but the other side that is sepated by two gulleys, has ruffled felt and sagging areas next to the lead gulleys.
Is this normal practise?
I know the roofer has not been in my loft, so would not of seen it from inside.
What shall I do, can anyone help?
He has not finished the job yet.
All the best
Robbie
