Room - Change of use

We live in a chalet bungalow and to the ground floor wish to move the bathroom suite into a small bedroom and use it as the bathroom. The existing bathroom would be used for storage.
Is it necessary to inform authorities as to change of use?

That would not constitute a change of use.

You would, however, need to make a Building Regulations application for the installation of sanitary fittings, and connection to the drains.
