Room Stat on a ravenheat he120 combi..... not switching on

Hi,

Just fitted a room stat to the new boiler, it turns the boiler off ok but won't turn it back on again. But if i turn the boiler off and back on it then fires up. The stat is working fine when checked with a meter.

To fit the stat i just replaced the wire link on the boiler pcb with the 2 wires from the stat...

any ideas?

Patience! If you wait a little longer the heating will come back on. There's a time delay built into these things to prevent boiler cycling (frequent switching on and off). Switching the boiler on and off makes the boiler forget that it's pausing.

Just reconnected it.... how long is 'A little longer'?
