I would recommend the Honeywell CM907 programmable thermostat. See http://europe.hbc.honeywell.com/products/pdf/en0h8547uk07r0906.pdf
It has excellent temperature control characteristics, superior to a basic electronic or mechanical thermostat. The programmable temperature control is also well worth having.
‘No volt’ or volt free contacts mean that the thermostat does not source any voltage (such as 240V). It provides a relay contact that can be used to control an externally sourced voltage. The CM907 has volt free contacts.
