Room ventilation

Hi all

Ok i have recently added some partition wall and a door in the corner of one room to create a tidy unseen storage room but it has a problem, it has no window so it doesnt have any ventilation and after a few months of it being finished it takes on a musty snell when it hasnt been used for a few days....

Question i have is what is the best way to ventilate it and get good airflow through it without installing a window and that doesnt introduce damp air as it has important paperwork in there

AB,
Would suggest a dehumidifier in the first instance, and/or a silent Continuous running extractor fan in the wall into the other room (the thinking being that it will constantly change the air).

Ah ok, i never thought of a powered vent just the usual slotted vent, i am able to fit one to the outside would that be better pulling the stale air and dumping it outside or would that still require another vent on the partition wall to pull fresher air in?
