I am a 20 y/o newly qualified plumber.. i do alot of work on plumbing/pipework.. but not too much on boilers and controls i have the basic knowledge, i have a 30 cxi glowworm boiler ( old style ) and i just bought a glowworm clima stat, seemed really straight forward to install, take the small loop wire out the system controls part on the boiler then 2 wires into the roomstat, power on the boiler, the climastat powers up and shows the current room temp, but when i turn the stat up. it shows on the screen upto 30, but the boiler will not kick in, have i done something wrong.. or is the climastat not suitable for my boiler ?
Appriciate any help.

The Climastat needs an Ebus connection on the boiler; the CXi boiler does not have one. Change it for a Honeywell DT90E or, if you want a programmable stat, a CM901 or CM907.

Eaton: The Climastat is wired!

Sorry I didn't reply earlier.

The Honeywell DT92E would be suitable or, if you want a programmable stat, the CM921 (24 hour) or CM927 (7 day).
