HI.few of roses in my garden are dying.first leaves turn yellow black and eventually goes down the branches.looks like funges of some kind.any treetment for it please.

I use RoseClear spray, which also kills greenfly. You need to spray a few times, including once more after it looks cured. It will grow new leaves to replace the dead ones, and you have to spray them so they don't get infected.

You cannot cure infected leaves, but the spray will protect healthy ones.

Remove the dead leaves, including the ones on the ground, as they are covered in spores which will be splashed about by rain and spread the infection.

be quite brutal with your roses and you might save them.

have they been planted recently or are they well established?

pull off all the unhappy foliage and cut the wood back to clean wood.

dispose of everything and dont leave any of the leaves on the surrounding ground.

still plenty of time to get some new shoots and flowers this year.

I pruned mine very heavily about ten days ago, they already have new leaves.

I don't get much black spot, although this is a warm and moist area, because I spray at first sign, and then again two weeks later.

I just use Roseclear on the roses for ease and it saves getting the big sprayer out.
