I am in the process of putting together a budget for an extension to my home and wondered if anyone could give me a rough idea of costings, ball park at this stage before I decide whether to proceed with more formal quotes.

The main room will need 4 double sockets and 6 downlights operating from one switch.

Another area of the home requires relocation of 4 wall lights and one switch to operate, install of two ceiling lights with one switch and one ceiling light with 2 way switches and install of 2 double sockets.

It is a bungalow with loft access and the consumer unit is around 15 metres away, the consumer unit has no spare fuses so I am guessing I will need an additional unit.

A rough idea of cost would be most appeciated.

Thanks

Somewhere between three hundred and twelve hundred plus bonding and other possible correctrons might easily double the price.
Or to put it another way " About the same as a second hand car"
Hope this helps
