Rounding coombed ceiling

We may be at cross purposes here. The levels are blended between the old part of the house and the extension as I packed out the board to make up the difference, that is where the problem lies.

I just want to make it less noticeable so thought that rounding it off would be the way to go. If I knew what tool to use to round off the Easifill that would help.

A dinner plate - seriously . use it to mark a template out of mdf etc. then run the template along the wall on top of a batten . That`ll shape the easifill enough in 1 or 2 passes - then fine fill . Did it myself and hid a 2 inch drop in 3 feet run
