I have a BT wireless network oute 1250. I have 2 computers linked up for broadband access through the router (ethernet cable to main computer and then hrough telephone cable to second computer). My problem is the internet access to the second computer keeps dropping and I cant figure out how to stop this or restore internet access to the second computer. As you can no doubt tell not a computer buff, but would appreciate any help (in laymans terms)
Thanks in advance

You appear to be attempting to terminate an ADSL signal in two places. You can't do that - it's a point-to-point topology.

Firstly, you need to remove the telephone cable that's going to the second computer.

Secondly, you need to decide how to connect the second computer to the wireless router. The options are, in order of increasing cost:

1. Ethernet.
2. Wireless LAN.
3. Ethernet over mains.

Any questions?
