Hi,
Just purchased a like new condition Makita router table & now fitting the router to it.
My question is, do I just clamp the router flange to the underside of the table using the 4 knobs or must I put some kind of screw down through table surface and secure it into the router flange.

havent got a clue about the makita
but normally gravity and a rebate hold the router and base its fixed to in place

Hi,
The router is fixed from under the table.
The hole is say 2 inches and just for the bit to pass through.

It isn’t placed through the table top and then sits on an edge.

it will tend to be with the fixings supplied from underneath
what model is the router table ??

Hi,
I have now used fixings and also screwed from the top.
Thanks for the info
