hi,

many thanks for the help on my other posts.

got a wall with a socket on it about 750mm from the floor. the wall is plaster board with breeze block behind.

want to add a new socket a few metres to the left of the socket. the new socket is about 500mm above the floor.

tha planned cable route is drop from bottom of socket A and run behind plaster board till level with socket B. then come out of front of plaster baord into surface trunling and run to new socket.

think this is okay, the bit im concerned with is the drop from the first socket cos it wont really be protected but as its in a expected cable route i think it should be ok.

anyone confirm or offer better solution.

cheers

If cable goes vertically from one socket, then horizontally to the next one then theres no problems with the routing/
