Hi folks - 1st post... so plse be gentle....

Please advise - has anyone any1st hand experience of the extruded 'Ruabon' quarry tiles sourced from Shipley in Bradford.

The company is called 'dennis ruabon ltd' but since Ruabon's factory is (again) operating from their base in Hafod in Wales. I am guessing the Bradofrd outlet are importers (China?) rather than manufacturers?

Still they claim the same techspec as original ruabons and to match Ruabons in colour etc. They also claim the tiles are suitable for commercial, public applications and patch repairs on original Ruabon areas etc. They tell me that like the original Ruabons they don't need sealing, which is also a good sign.

Just wondering if there is any first hand experience out there of quarries sourced from them (ie Bradford?)?

cheers

Al

Don't know about the ones you have from Bradford, but I picked up some 6x6x1" Ruabon Red Quarries direct from the factory at Haford. Both they and my builder told me they would need sealing.

Maybe the importer or stockist has had them sealed.
