Rubber floor meets wooden floor - what do I use?

I have a small problem. I'm an interior design student and have an assignment which involves designing a two bedroom flat. I've chosen to go with a retro theme so have used rubber flooring in the kitchen and bathroom (the tile version). My problem is that the lounge will be wood flooring. What do I use to disguise where the wooden and rubber floor meets?

Is there a big difference in height between rubber and wood flooring?
There are several wooden 'thresholds' available, from reducers to ends and twins. This also allows you to keep the expansion gap for the wood where it meets the rubber.

I don't know if there will be a difference as its a project and imaginary, yet I have to write flooring specifications. Its all a bit vague if you ask me! I'm guessing there will be around a 10mm difference, the rubber flooring is only 2.7mm thick.

I would go for a wooden reducer (ramp) then that can cover that difference and most do, nice neat finish to the project.
