Not something I come across very often these days.
Back when I first started out I got asked to RE-USE some of this stuff on a new garage, that the guy had carefully taken out of his old garage
Needless to say I insisted that brand new PVC BASEC approved cable was all I was prepared to use.

FarmerJon, forgot to say, I guess you realise how old, and past its sell-by date that cable (and the way it is installed) is, the dangers it presents to you and your family, and how urgent it is that you get your property rewired.
Unless its all dead, and was never removed during a rewire, in which case its just a harmless curiosity!
