Hi all- Got a couple of diy tiling projects to do and my small wet tile cutter has died and wanted to give a manual cutter a go. Screwfix has two Rubi cutters available that fit the bill and I just picked up the more expensive one which is at the top of my budget. However I’ve opened it up and it seems pretty flimsy - especially the cheap plastic guides which at least on the cheaper model look metal. So I’m wondering if anyone knows the difference between these two models and why one would be twice the price of the other. Thanks! Links below:

Looks like you're down to the Mickey Mouse end there. I have a TS 30 and a TS 50 Plus. I think the TS 30 was £160+. They're a few years old now.

You get what you pay for. For Porcelain tiles, you need to have a wet bench tile cutter.

Argh okay thanks, not sure if budget stretches that far. Got any opinion on the 'Big Clunker' ?
