My central heating system has been drained & refilled but without any rust inhibitor, I've bought a can, do I just drain the same amount of water off & add the whole can in one go to the top of a radiator please...

Thankyou in advance... :?:

You need to drain your central heating untill the pressure is 0, then drain a tad more, about 5 litres. Then go to highest rad on the system and with an adjustable undo the blank cap opposite end of the bleed valve and pour it in.

Then close cap, top the system up and bleed.

forgot to say, make sure when you top the system back up, that you top it up to 1.5bar
