Hi
I need to replace some rusty central heating radiators. I live by the sea, so things do seem to rust easily.
Could someone recommend radiators that don't rust quickly. Would it be a good idea to put some extra layers of paint on before I fit them? What would be the best paint to use?
The worst radiator is the bathroom one, which is 500mm wide. Would a towel rail be a good idea, if it was easy to fit into the existing pipework?
Thanks for any help.

You could buy a radiator made of something other than mild steel. Stainless steel or aluminium perhaps?

Nozzle

(Addition, though Stainless Steel is a crap conductor of heat)

Bathroom radiators always rust first , its nothing to do with living by the sea, its the condensation when showering or bathing
