RWB9 Connection issues to Potterton Suprima HE

D_Hailsham,

Normal service has been resumed !!!

The problem appears to have been the "tap" too stiff for the actuator to be able to turn completely off.

Hot water now runs without heating rads, and pump stops after a couple of mins when system turns off.

Can I buy a new tap assembly, the actuator seems fine ?

Thank you for all you're help and advice.

One last thing, now I have the programmer sorted, can you help with the room stat ?

I purchased it from Wicks, its a simple rotary dial with three conections inside.

I plan to mount it in the hallway

Any ideas welcome.

Regards

Graham

You may be able to get a valve body from a plumbers merchants, e.g PTS, but, as it is the actuator which tends to be the part which goes, you may have to buy the complete valve. You will have to drain down to change the valve.

I expect so  but I need more info on the thermostat.

Can you tell me, from the instructions, what each terminal has to be connected to? That will determine how it is wired and the type of cable to use.
