I have one of these and wanted to check if I can use it for an upcoming shed build and specifically, timber walls and joists etc. I was plannng to use 4x2 timbers.

It will be ok on any cladding but only useful on larger timber as a temporary fix till you can screw the frame .
 
1.2mmx50mm[max] will pin up to 15mm as long as no great pull out resistance required[head will pull through]

No. It's a finish nailer intended for things like holding skirting boards on, not a framing nailer that fires nails intended to actually hold things together

Buy a hammer, or a decent cordless drill and use screws; they're overall more useful
