saab 95 2.3 turbo

help i have a saab 95 2.3 turbo i have replaced temperature sensor and engine thermostat but still the temperature gauge fluctuates high and low sometimes reading zero and bringing the engine management light on the other sympton is the mpg is now showing 3-4 mph lower than normal any suggestions would be appreciated

I believe the temp and mpg readings are provided by the ecu, maybe the fault codes need resetting? Either way, click on this for expert advice;
