Sabre 25HE Problem

hi im looking for some adivce on a problem with a sabre 25he combi boiler
it was working fine until sunday then i noticed a solid red light on the front of it
tried to reset the boiler with no joy solid red light & the strange part is with the taps off & heating off the boiler is still trying to fire up
you can hear the pump & the fan running as if there is a demand for heat or water but there isnt

Any help would be great

can be one of two things but likely the most common one

the trouble is you need to open the combustion chamber so you would need to get a RGI

Both faults I am talking about need the chamber to be removed to get access to them
I have only seen the second fault twice
And the first fault many times
but the only advise I can give you is get a rgi
sorry but I cannot give any advise when it involves removing chamber.
