The corner of this gutter is sagging slightly and water stays there for days each time it rains. I was hoping I'd just need to tighten some screws but I can't get to them, the roof is in the way. Any advice please?

If all else fails, I was thinking I could put some outdoor silicone underneath to prop it - is that a terrible idea?

Have you tried pushing it up?

Yes, terrible idea

OP,
Use your knife to cut away just enough of the roofing cap sheet drip - then push the fitting into line with the gutter falls - & then drive a screw(s) through the back of the fitting into the fascia.

Have your ladder footed - use stabilisers or stand offs - if you think they are needed hire them?

Thanks, will try this.
Ladder at least isn't a problem, it's ground floor, easy to reach from a step ladder.
