Just place marking really, as my understanding is that you can`t with a combi.

I fitted one to our house (poor water pressure!) before Christmas.

It's a godsend, bath takes 10 mins to fill instead of 20+, electric shower is 100% improvement.

Our WB combi runs fine with the extra water, I was under the impression all reasonably new boilers automatically adapted to variable water flow?.

Bear in mind it will boost up to a maximum of 12 litres per minute output due to water regs.

Only downside is it runs when the toilet is refilling (seems a waste), but then again when people are in the bathroom brushing their teeth, running water in the sink etc before the tap flow would drop off of someone was in the seperate WC. Not now!.

Even my wife had commented what a difference it's made so it must be good!.

I made a shelf to support the weight of the pump (they're meant to hang off the incoming cold water pipe but seemed too much to hang off ours).

Soft start as well so gradually increases flow over 5 to 10 seconds.

No complaints from me, £250 well spent.
