We have installed this pump as per the instructions and it worked perfectly for a few weeks (used every day by 5 people!).

What has just started to happen is that the pump continues to run when the shower has been turned off - the only way to shut it down is to switch it off by the electrical supply. Have turned the two isolator valves off on the outlet side of the pump but it still continues to run.

Any suggestions please?

Get the installer to come back and have a look at it. Probably the reed valve(s) are sticking

If you isolate the water supply, and remove the flexible hoses on the inlet, you will see the reed switch, with a small screwdriver you can push the switch back into position (small plunger),if it persists a new pump will be required.

Update - 22 Feb 2010 - Tried everything suggested, but no joy. Called Salamander, they sent an engineer (free as still under 2year warranty) who said it was a faulty circuit board, he changed it & job done in 30mins and all working again.
