Hi Guys and Gals

I have fitted a Salamander 3 bar pump which up to now (1 year) has been fabulous. Recently I notice that the pump has got only a single orange light on all of the time not the green lamp that normally is lit during standby and although it does start and work it only starts when the tap / shower etc has been turned on a while and it appears that the water pressure has completely dropped to zero before the pump cuts in. Once the tap /shower is turned off the pump builds the necessary pressure in the system and shuts down. Could this be a problem with the small expansion vessel on the side of the pump? The pump is a single ended cold water boost pump and serves the entire house. The incoming feed is from a large high level water break tank and the supply seems OK

Thanks
