Can anyone help ?

We have installed a Salamander pump 1.5 and it is not working properly.

When we turn the shower on the pump will not feed enough hot water through to the shower (hence pressure low) and the pump will not then switch off. The pump stays on even though we have turned the shower off.

Any ideas.

Rae :(

How close is the pump to the hot water cylinder, if its too far you can get these symptoms. Is the small ball o valves on the flexi hoses open with the slot inline with the flexi's.
What model of Salamander do you have? Is it new? Have you fitted it according to ManU instructions? If new you have a warranty with it.

The salamander pump is the CT50+ The pump is situated on the floor not far from the hot water tank e.g. 6 inches.

To the left Kev to the left LOL, sorry out last night after posting.
Sorry off topic MOD,
Have the pipes been cleared of air locks as any air left in them with act like an expansion vessel and the pump will have to pressurise this up before it stops. Check the filters are clean and all valves fully open and you haven't got the pipes to the shower wrong way round (granny suck eggs emoticon).
