salus mv222 2 port motorized valve wiring

morning

i am going to replace my honeywell 2 port motorized valve with the above. the honeywell is 5 wire, and the salus is 6 wire (has an extra white).

should i just leave the salus white wire disconnected? on their wiring diagram it shows as the normally closed connection return from the orange (with the normally open being the grey)

Why? Presumably the Honeywell has failed and the Salus is cheaper. It's cheaper for a reason: Salus valves are not so good as Honeywell.

yes, thats right. the honeywell is done for and being replaced by a cheaper model. i understand they are not as good

does your yes at end answer the question that the white wire should be left disconnected?
