Hi all

A few days ago my fridge freezer decided to go warm and had to throw everything away. Since emptying it, it seems very sporadic and at time works fine and cooling ok (4degC fridge) and other times it gone to 16degC

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Yes I’m sure there was when I last had it on. I’ve turned it off for now

That will be ice build up around the fan, when you open the door it switches off the fan to reduce moist air being drawn into fridge. A full defrost might clear it , I used Vaseline around a fan housing after clearing ice to reduce further build up .

I’ll give it a full defrost and then try the Vaseline trick and put back together.
