Plastering advice please. Is is possible to sand down a plaster curve ready for making good? I have a curved ceiling/wall join that looks really naff and just winds me up. Been quoted silly money to rip down the lot and re-do. Base is board/stud wall so no brick base behind if that's relevant.

My question is, can I sand off the curve and then get a plasterer to make good and skim a nice angled ceiing for me?

You can sand anything. I sand bricks to remove paint. Without a pic, can't really tell what you are trying to sand. If you need to remove a lot of material, a grinder or oscillating tool can be used for cutting out materials using diamond attachments.

You really need to provide images.
