Would anyone be able to advise me whether it's best to use sharp sand 4:1 mix or building sand 4:1 mix for up to damp course. I'll be laying medium density concrete blocks/ engineering bricks. Many thanks

I'd love to see anyone lay bricks with sharp sand mortar!

Soft building sand every time with plasticiser. 3:1 below DPC.

Thanks, that's what I thought. And medium density 3n concrete blocks / engineering bricks ok?
