sanding flagstones

Hi,
I need to sand some flagstones to remove staining on them. So, not too much, but to take the surface off a bit.
What would be the best tool for the job and what type or coarseness of sander would I need?

Pour on neat bleach and scrub with a brush, then leave for 30 minutes and wash off.

They come up like new.
