Saniflo problems

I have a Saniflo plus in my en suite. We have a sink, toilet and a shower running off it.

Recently the macerator has started (lasts around ten mins) without anyone using it and there is an awful smell coming from the unit itself (a few times a week).

We only use it for the sink and shower (daily) so cant see why it would smell.

Any help/ideas would be appreciated.

If you can't move house get the feckwitted ****** that fitted the abomination to come and fix it.

Unfortunately, it was there when we purchased the property so have no idea who installed it.

When we re-do the bathroom I will consider removing it.

The link was rather amusing confirmed my concerns.

Sounds like a blocked pipe.

Good luck in getting someone to look at it!
