Have just empted my sanifo after a block put it back together, pump works fine and empetes unit, but pump will not switch off anyone have any idias.

where is the float switch located ? and what is the best way to unblock it ? is it what looks like a vacuum switch on the printed circuit ?

There's not much can go wrong with a sani:

1. If it hums it's the capacitor needing replacing
2. If it won't stop, the microswitch needs replacing

There are other less frequent problems

...but you've had yours apart so it could be there's something under the rubber diaphragm pushing on the microswitch ~ like one of the rubber pegs that happened to drop off whilst you were putting it back together

Thank God there are some owners willing to do their own cleaning work
