hello my name is natasha i live in a flat and what used to be a house is now 2 flats our bathroom is in the cellar and one level

we are having major probles we use it just keeps overflowing then water coming into the bath my boyfriend un does the pipe from the saniflo system and it seems to let all the water out seems like air somewhere just problems all the time is there an advice u could give ?

That's why she's talking about a Saniflo.

Sounds like your outlet pipe is blocked - probably installed with 90deg bends. The water in the pipe is always there and it wont be a problem with air. Look at www.saniflo.co.uk for a service engineer in your area and get them to come and fix it.

It sounds like it needs the top taking off it to find out what's going on Fran. You can either do this yourself, if you have a strong constitution (turn the power off first), or you can Google Saniflo Engineer in your area and call someone out

As I`m sure you know it shouldn`t lurch around and vibrate, all signs of something in there that shouldn`t be (wet wipe perhaps?) Some models have the blades at the top whilst with others it is at the bottom. Easy job if you know what you doing and have had a course of injections. Wouldn`t advise it as a DIY job as it could go seriously wrong.

A good engineer could fix that in 15 minutes if it has been installed correctly and the blade is at the top. For the money I charge I would also clean and service it whilst there.

Roughly where are you Fran?

That's the trouble JP, good engineers are hard to find especially to service a Saniflo.

THANKS everybody. I am in Brighton. We have the whole thing opened up loads of times and spent hours repairing it about 2-3 years ago. My friend does not want to go in there again..though and it took us a long time there was a different problem a motor running on ...but this time I am confident its just something gone down it that should not have.I have put a do not use on it and am wondering one time we sent it off to saniflo doctor and they were the ones that told us what to do but its time consuming though only £4o pounds or so.

Well if you know how to remove the lid then do it, no need to remove the motor from the tank this time
Heard things about that company you mentioned sending yours away to, are you certain you got yours back not another one
Quick St Google brought up an array of choice, one I do know to be good is Sani Solutions (no callout charge).
