Hello all

I am hoping to watch the klitchsko v Chisora fight on sat night on RTL German, but I have lost the signal to this channel. I can get all channels with polarity V but none transmitted in polarity H. My question is, is it that my satellite has moved slightly in the bad weather or do I need to change the LNB.

Thanks for any replys

Or that the voltage reaching the LNB is too low. That could be a bad connection or a receiver fault. So the easiest test first of all is to connect a different receiver. If that doesn't work, then you can get the ladders out.

Yes it was the LNB, I took a LNB off an old redundant sky dish, it was the wrong size and is currently being held on to my dish with rubber bands. I know complete botch job but it works and I will be watching the boxing free of charge tonight on RTL.

Anyhow thanks for you help.

Lol well if it works why not. You should be Abel to pick up a single output LNB from eBay for a fiver with a 40mm collar.

No, he is Jason not Abel. ;)

LNBs selling on eBay for a fiver are most likely stolen, since that's less than the normal trade price. It would prick my conscience to buy one.

That's nice. I'm not allowed to type p r i c k my conscience?
