I have a (old?) tomtom one, 3rd edition, just updated it throught my computer but when i put a certain address in, it still can't find it ? Do the older satnavs not always completely update ?. Could it be the address is too new? It works ok usually.

if you have had a new map update, it should include recent changes.
Sometimes roads are spelled incorrectly.
Try a search by postcode. Also, try navigating to a nearby road and zoom the map to see if the address you want appears on the map.

thanks john, spoke to the resident and he was in a new house, off the map, i did b renew the map update....
I updated my sat nav regularly but still took several years before it stopped telling me to turn left at a petrol station on the A2.
