Hi all

I have one of these showing a f2 fault . I have an engineer certified but neither of us are having much joy sourcing a service manual. The boiler was imported from France by the previous owners and both SD France and valliant UK make it very difficult.

I have found an exploded parts list that seems to indicate that mist of the parts are available in the UK, some very scant information from SD.fr and a service manual usefully in Hungarian. The local engineer is a SD specialist and has not seen this model in the UK before. I can read some French and I have a couple of bilingual kids so even a French manual would be a great start.

I'd be really grateful for any help

John

It doesn't sound like this issue will be resolved due to a non uk boiler- you can throw money at the boiler but it's best to replace for long term-I know it's not want you want to hear but from a safety point of view how do you know it's running correct on the gas side etc,I fitted a thema in 2008 and the group service engineer (vaillant) said they always leak and engineers hate working on them due to plastic parts constantly leaking-it was during my commissioning that I saw a slight leak why k
I called them out, anyway I removed straight away as the customer was shocked at what was happening,he went back to Grahame (merchant) and got refund.I don't think they done many sales in the uk and left 2009/2010
Good luck

Sd and old glow worm products share the same fault codes. Get your engineer to check there is power going to the fan. Most parts are the same and if it is the fan I would be surprised if you couldn't get one that fits.
