Scale around zone valve

Hi
Having switched my heating back on recently I have noticed a few oddities. I have two Honeywell CM707s for two zones in the house for central heating. If I switch the bedrooms on yhe other zone gets hot too. I was going to inspect the valves and found this scale fur around the one for the bedroom. No leaks visible though. Do I need to replace the valve or is it something else?

No need to replace the valve if it is working , but you need to remove that crud and fix the leak on the compression joint
