Scantronic 9800+

Just moved into a house with a Scantronic 9800+ and am replacing it with a Texecom.

The scantonic is serviced and working but don’t have eng code.

it has one internal sounder and 2 external. One maybe a dummy as no flashing light.

Do the the external sounders have battery backups or will they stop once power and battery are removed from the panel.

If serviced correctly then I would expect SAB battery to work.
This does depend on age of system. Bell box should have built in cut off timer.If bell box rings for more than 20 minutes then it is a ladder job to silence.
