I had the airfix model of the scharnhorst, insisted on doing it by myself and ended up with more glue on me than there was on the model and half the little pieces missing.

You're probably right but humans do find beauty in things that only have one purpose i.e. to destroy other human beings, the Spitfire for example or swords or guns or tanks and to a similiar extent how about some of the high gothic armours produced in the 15th and 16th centuries. Strange species
