Hi

I have 2 lighting circuits that i want to wire into this time clock but not sure of the wiring.

Schneider CCT15720

The time clock has the following connections.

L

N 2 4 6

Now i assume the 2 4 6 terminals are output terminals.

All i need to know is where i take the 2 lives from the lighting circuits and do i have to take a live down from 'L' to one of the terminals like you do on other time clocks?

Thanks

Does nobody ever use Google around here.???

If you google "Schneider CCT15720 instructions"

You will quickly find the manual with all of the connection information.

Oh look, I'm feeling extra helpful

OK, so you can see that 2, 4, 6 are the relay contacts.

so you connect 4 to Live and get your output from 2 or 6 depending on if you want NO or NC contacts.

It looks like some models have a second set of contacts (1,3,5)

Thanks for replies guys.

Taylortwocities you would be bored without people like us :D

I did see the schematic but just wasn't sure as it doesnt seem that clear to me.

So L goes down to 4 and lighting feeds into 2 (NO)

See now you can go away happy that you have helped a man in need.

No do not have the model that have terminals 1,3, 5.

You can only switch one circuit with your timer then, unless you also install a contactor.

well even though theres two circuits theres only 5 lights total whats the problem with putting both in. theres two available terminals on each output.

That's nature's way of telling you you shouldn't be fiddling with this.

The problem is, of course, that there are two circuits. If you connect them together there won't be.

You absolutely must not connect both circuits together. This will bypass the protection which the circuit breakers provide to the circuits.

I have to agree that you need to get a competent electrician to install this device for you.
