The bathroom Hotwater Tap has just started to make a screaching sound when on half way, if I open tap fully it disapears.
Any idea of cause?

It is a High Pitched sound, but if I turn the tap to 'Fully Open' it disapears.
Any advice much appreciated.
Cheers.

Sounds most likely to be worn internals on the tap.

A set of tap restorers will normally do the trick and are available at most plumbing merchants. 1/2" for sink taps and 3/4" for bath taps.

Very simple job and should take no more than 10 mins
