Hi,
I have just pulled up a laminate floor which was rising in the middle, underneath the membrane I've found two large lumps in the floor. From what I've read I think it is the screed, they sound hollow and are in one particular area. I wonder whether I now need to lift the whole screed layer or whether I can effectively cut out the lumps and patch repair the area (generally floor looks ok).
I am looking to lay a carpet afterwards so don't know if this makes a difference to what I do?
Dependant on what is recommended I would like the easiest solution (maybe self leveling?) if anyone could recommend a product that even a novice could lay.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thanks a bunch!
