screw for crabtree starbreaker

does anyone know where i can get a screw for the cover of a crabtree starbreaker? as one is missing, also are the screws all the same across the starbreaker range? if i bought an old one off e by would the screw be liable to fit?,

What I would do to stop messing about, is take out the one fixing screw you have, nip down to your local iron mongers with it (don't lose it) and ask them for something with same thread and head sizes, ideally the same length but if it's a bit longer you can cut it down.
Probably save you a lot of time searching for one.

thats what i was going to do but the screw has a spiral down it and looks specialized i will try at the store but not sure if i will get any like this are all the crabtree screws the same? across the board do you think?

No they are not, I wouldn't be over concerned with the way it is diagonally marked, just trying to be a bit fancy. I don't think it serves any additional fixing purpose. Providing you can get the same gauge of threaded screw, you should be okay.
